Under the Website Design & Development track, learners are trained in foundational and intermediate web development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, website builders (Wix, WordPress, Webflow), SEO, performance optimization, website security, monetization, and deployment. The program emphasizes practical, hands-on learning, real-world projects, and portfolio development.
The Facilitator will guide learners through the full curriculum, deliver practical sessions, and ensure participants gain both technical competence and professional readiness for employment or freelancing.
Role Purpose
To deliver high-quality training in website design and development, mentor learners through practical projects, and prepare youth for entry-level employment, entrepreneurship, or freelancing opportunities in the web and digital services industry.

Role Purpose
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver all modules in the Web Development curriculum covering: Introduction to web development and the client–server model; HTML including structure, forms, tables, and semantic markup; CSS for styling, layout, Flexbox, Grid, and responsive design; JavaScript fundamentals focusing on DOM manipulation, events, and interactivity; and the use of website builders such as Wix, WordPress, and Webflow.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and practical exercises.
- Deliver live demonstrations and guide hands-on practice.
- Conduct weekly tests, quizzes, and assessments.
- Support learners to complete monthly projects and a final deployed website.
- Share resources, tutorials, and recommended tools.
- Provide one-on-one learner support.
- Give feedback on assignments and projects.
- Support learners struggling with technical concepts.
- Prepare learners for real-world client projects.
- Mentor participants in freelancing skills and project delivery.
- Guide learners on freelancing, client communication, rates, and professionalism.
- Provide insights into current design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Support in organizing guest sessions, portfolio reviews, or exposure visits.
- Track learner attendance, participation, and performance.
- Submit weekly progress reports to the Program Lead.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities such as surveys, assessments, and documentation of success stories.
- Ensure all training content, videos, and resources are shared with learners on schedule.
- Experience training or mentoring creatives.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners.
