The program emphasizes hands-on learning using professional cameras, lighting, and editing tools to prepare participants for careers in photography, filmmaking, content creation, and freelancing.
The Facilitator will guide learners through the full curriculum, deliver practical sessions, and support the development of strong technical, creative, and professional skills.

Under the Website Design & Development track, learners are trained in foundational and intermediate web development skills including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, website builders (Wix, WordPress, Webflow), SEO, performance optimization, website security, monetization, and deployment. The program emphasizes practical, hands-on learning, real-world projects, and portfolio development.
The Facilitator will guide learners through the full curriculum, deliver practical sessions, and ensure participants gain both technical competence and professional readiness for employment or freelancing.
Role Purpose
To deliver high-quality training in film and photography, mentor learners through practical projects, and prepare youth for employment, entrepreneurship, or freelancing opportunities in the creative and media industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver all modules in the Film & Photography curriculum covering: introduction to photography and filmmaking, providing an overview of the industry and potential career paths, while building strong technical foundations in camera types and functions including DSLR, mirrorless, and smartphone cameras, lenses, sensors, and accessories. The role will cover manual camera settings such as ISO, shutter speed, and aperture alongside composition techniques, lighting methods, and color theory for both photography and film, as well as cinematography fundamentals including shot types, camera movement, and visual storytelling.
- Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and practical exercises.
- Deliver live demonstrations and guide hands-on practice.
- Conduct weekly tests, quizzes, and assessments.
- Support learners to complete monthly projects and a final deployed website.
- Share resources, tutorials, and recommended tools.
- Provide one-on-one learner support.
- Give feedback on assignments and projects.
- Support learners struggling with technical concepts.
- Prepare learners for real-world client projects.
- Mentor participants in freelancing skills and project delivery.
- Guide learners on freelancing, client communication, rates, and professionalism.
- Provide insights into current design trends, tools, and best practices.
- Support in organizing guest sessions, portfolio reviews, or exposure visits.
- Track learner attendance, participation, and performance.
- Submit weekly progress reports to the Program Lead.
- Support monitoring and evaluation activities such as surveys, assessments, and documentation of success stories.
- Ensure all training content, videos, and resources are shared with learners on schedule.
- Experience training or mentoring creatives.
- Ability to simplify complex concepts for beginners.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Familiar with using Google Classroom for teaching and course management
