The Motion Graphics track trains learners in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender, character animation, video editing, sound design, and portfolio/showreel development.

The Motion Graphics Facilitator will lead learners through a structured curriculum, ensuring they acquire strong conceptual and practical skills to create professional animations, ads, and explainer videos.

Role Purpose

To deliver high-quality motion graphics training, mentor youth through practical projects, and prepare them for employment or freelancing opportunities in animation, digital media, and creative marketing.

Role Purpose

To deliver high-quality motion graphics training, mentor youth through practical projects, and prepare them for employment or freelancing opportunities in animation, digital media, and creative marketing.

Key Responsibilities

Training & Facilitation

● Deliver all modules in the Motion Graphics curriculum covering: Introduction to Design & Principles, Introduction to Motion Graphics, Animation Basics & Keyframing, Effects & Transitions, 3D Motion & Camera Movements, Character Animation & Rigging, Editing & Motion Graphics for Ads, Sound Design & Exporting, Portfolio & Showreel Development 

● Prepare lesson plans, training materials, and practical exercises. 

● Deliver live demonstrations and guide hands-on practice. 

● Conduct weekly tests, quizzes, and assessments. 

● Support learners to complete projects and final showreels. 

● Share resources, tutorials, and recommended tools.

Support participants to complete monthly and final projects.

Coaching & Mentorship

● Provide one-on-one learner support.

● Give feedback on assignments, animations, and edits.

● Support learners struggling with technical concepts.

● Prepare learners for real-world client projects.

● Mentor participants in freelancing skills and project delivery.

Industry Exposure

● Guide learners on freelancing, client communication, rates, and professionalism.

 ● Provide insights into current design trends, tools, and best practices.

● Support in organizing guest sessions, portfolio reviews, or exposure visits.

M&E and Reporting

● Track learner attendance, participation, and performance.

● Submit weekly progress reports to the Program Lead.

● Support monitoring and evaluation activities such as surveys, assessments, and documentation of success stories.

● Ensure all training content, videos, and resources are shared with learners on schedule.

Deliverables

  • Weekly lesson plans and facilitation materials.
  • Successful delivery of all curriculum modules.
  • Weekly assessments and graded assignments.
  • Completed practical projects (Animated logo, Text intro, Transition video, 3D logo animation, Character animation, 15-second ad, Sound-synced promo, Final 30-second explainer video)
  • A complete showreel/portfolio for every learner.
  • Weekly and monthly progress reports.
  • End-of-program assessment and summary report.

Technical Skills

  • 2–3+ years of experience in motion graphics, animation, or multimedia production.
  • Proficiency in (Adobe After Effects (must), Adobe Premiere Pro, Blender or Cinema 4D, Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop (for assets), Canva – basic motion templates)
  • Knowledge of rigging tools (Duik, RubberHose) is an added advantage.
  • Strong portfolio with animations, ads, and explainer videos.

  • Familiar with using Google Classroom for teaching and course management
